The Cube is open-access Publishing that provides support at all phases of publishing, including brainstorming, writing, editing, design, layout, and web development. They also support both undergraduate and graduate students and offer year-round paid internships in publishing.
Social Media Strategist
I help strategize and coordinate social media campaigns and events focused to Twitter during my first six months. I then was given the Instagram account for The CUBE to manage, as well. I was in this position during September of 2020 through May of 2021.
Engagement & Growth
In my position for The CUBE, I was the creator and content manager for the Twitter and Instagram account. This account started off with a total of zero followers. With different techniques and engagements received from campaigns and events I have strategized, I have increased their following. From what was zero, now has over 200 followers on each platform and counting in under six months.
One of the most exciting engagements I have received from running the Twitter account was one from Random House Publishing.
The impressions on Twitter continue to grow and grab an audience’s attention. This is seen by the increase in profile visits, tweet impressions and mentions that continue to grow.
